According to a notification on the official website, the last date to register for the second test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2015-16 has been extended to January 15. Initially, the registrations that began in November, last year were to end on January 5, 2015. However, they are still in process.

The first test of CMAT took place in September and the second test is scheduled to take place in February. The exam will be conducted between February 19, 2015 to February 22, 2015 in two sessions i.e. 9.30 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. and 2.30 P.M. to 5.30 P.M. It shall take place for a duration of 180 minutes.

The aspirants can download the admit cards from the official website from January 30, 2015. The result will be declared on March 25, 2015. The print out of the score card can be fetched thereafter, up to a month.

The candidates possessing a Bachelors degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks or those in the final year of graduate courses are eligible to apply for CMAT which is a national-level admission test for facilitating B-schools to shortlist candidates for admissions to management programmes approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

CMAT is held twice a year i.e. in the months of September and February. The better score out of the two attempts is chosen for granting admissions.
